Korea Rep. trained for approximately an hour which included running, passing and set play practice and finished. They were preparing for their match versus China PR national team. In East Asian Football Championships 2010 Finals Competition on the 10th (tournament Day 3) the matches to be played are China PR vs. Korea Rep. and on the 11th (Day 4) is Japan vs. Hong Kong-China.

East Asian Football Championships 2010 Finals Competition, the comments from each team looking ahead to their next matches are as below.

●Japanese coach, OKADA Takeshi
Before the season started in February, the condition of the players has improved tremendously. So, even though we drew today with China but we will win Hong Kong and Korea in the upcoming matches.

●Chinese coach, GAO Hongbo
China only had 10 days of preparation for this tournament. Although we had a chance to win Japan but we are still satisfied with the score of 0-0 against Japan. However, I don’t think that was the best game after we changed our formation.

●Korean forward, LEE Dong Gook
We could have achieved so many goals today because we managed to start scoring right from the start. Even though we achieved the goals, but the match with Japan and China is even more important for us.

●Hong Kong defender, NG Wai Chiu Our team’ performance is only 60% of that of Korea. In the region around Hong Kong, it is hard to find teams with level as high as that of Korea. Hence on 11th February, in our match against Japan, we will just have to do our best.
