DPR Korea 1-1 Korea Rep.:EAFC 2008 Final Competition

The Olympic Sports Centre in Chongqing, China was the venue of the second day of matches in the 3rd East Asian Football Championship 2008 Finals Tournament on the 20th. In the second match of the day DPR Korea played Korea Rep.
In the 21st minute YEOM Ki Hun’s shot from a free kick put Korea Rep. into the lead. Following that Korea Rep. dominated the match and DPR Korea spent most of the match defending. Then in the 48th minute DPR Korea’s PAK Chol Jin was shown his second yellow card and was sent off. Things were tough for DPR Korea but in the middle of this in the 73rd minute DPR Korea’s JONG Tae Se reacted to a short pass, lost his marker and shot. His shot went in to tie the game in a 1-1 draw. JONG Tae Se has scored in two matches in a row following on from his goal versus Japan.
