The Third round of matches was held for the women’s football competition throughout China PR on the 12th.

China PR played against Argentina in Group E. The score was 2-0 with China PR coming out victorious. This result means that China PR now have 2 wins, 1 draw and are in first place in their group and have assured their qualification for the finals tournament. China PR play Japan in the quarter final to be played on the 15th.

In Group F, DPR Korea played against Germany and lost in 0-1..This result means that DPR Korea now have 1 win and 2 losses and have been eliminated from the tournament at the group league stage.

Japan played against Norway in Group G. The score was 5-1 with Japan coming out victorious. This result means that Japan finish with 1 win, 1 draw, 1 loss and in 3rd place in their group and have assured their qualification to the finals tournament. They play China PR in the quarter final on the 15th.
