Meeting Held between EAFF and the Northern Mariana Islands
Representatives of the East Asian Football Federation met with the Honorable Benigno Repeki Fitial, the newly elected governor of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands; the Honorable Timothy Pangelinan Villagomez, Lieutenant Governor; and members of the Northern Mariana Islands Football Association. An active discussion was held on the establishment of a firm foundation for the promotion of football in the Northern Mariana Islands. The discussion also included the procedure and preparations to be taken by the Northern Mariana Islands for entry to AFC and FIFA.
