Nadeshiko Japan took on the Italian women's national team in the 2015 KIRIN CHALLENGE CUP on 28 May (Thursday) at Minami-Nagano Sports Park Stadium, which was their final official contest before the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. The tickets were sold out and a total of 14,453 fans assembled at the stadium.
Japan changed four of the starting members from their previous game against New Zealand on the 24th (Sunday), forming their defensive midfielder duo with SAKAGUCHI Mizuho and SAWA Homare while putting UTSUGI Rumi in the left side back spot.....
