DPR Korea Pave their Way to Victory from Preliminary Rounds with Consecutive Wins
Both teams entered this match with back-to-back victories. A win in this game would mean a victory in the competition. Korea REP used a 4-2-3-1 formation which centred around defensive midfielders KWON HAHNUL and CHO SOHYUN speedily passing the ball in a high spot on the field.
Left-wing JUNG SEOLBIN and right-wing LEE GEUMMIN took turns broaching the opposition striking zone, creating a number of chances for their team. However, DPR Korea, using a 4-4-2 formation, established a rigid defensive line which kept the other side from entering the penalty box.......
