Seoul: The Korea Football Association (KFA) stepped up their efforts to help combat the spread of COVID-19 by opening their national team training center to house coronavirus patients.

In a selfless act, the National Football Center (NFC) in Paju, north of Seoul in Gyeonggi Province, which has been idle due to the suspension of all football matches in the country, will be used to house patients with mild cases of COVID-19.

KFA President Chung Mong-gyu said: “In the face of adversity affecting Korean society, all employees and staff of the KFA came up with various initiatives to contribute in any way possible......
