Ranking remains static as the world fights COVID-19

Kuala Lumpur: Japan remained as Asia's top side in the latest FIFA World Ranking which saw minimal change due to only a few matches being played due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The ongoing measures to combat the spread of the pandemic resulted in little football of late and, consequently, next-to-no movement in the latest FIFA World Ranking.

Asia's top 15 remained unchanged with Japan ranked 28th, followed by Islamic Republic of Iran at 31st.

Korea Republic, at 40th, are the Continent's third highest ranked side, while Australia (42) and Qatar (55) completed the top five......
