Kim Eunseong scored the only goal of the game on 29 minutes, as Back Kitae’s charges beat Yemen 1-0 in their third match of Group C in the 2025 AFC U-17 Asian Cup staged at King Abdullah Sports City Hall Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Thursday.
The result put the Taegeuk Warriors in second place (six points) behind leaders Indonesia (nine points), with both sides advancing to the knockout phase of the continental championship, as well as the finals of the FIFA U-17 World Cup. This would be the third time in a row for Korea Republic to reach the world finals since 2019, bar the 2021 edition that was cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. .....
