Led by head coach Park Yoon-jeong, Korea lost 0-3 to DPR Korea in the semifinal of the 2026 AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup at Pathum Thani Stadium in Thailand on the 15th (Korea Standard Time). The tournament does not include a third-place playoff.
After advancing to the quarterfinals as the runner-up in Group B behind DPR Korea, Korea defeated Thailand 2-1 in the quarterfinals to secure one of the four FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup berths awarded to the top four teams.
