Lee Jaesung opened the scoring after just five minutes, before Mahmoud Al Mardi restored parity on the half-hour.
The result left the hosts with a slim lead at the top of Group B with 16 points from eight games, including three 1-1 draws in as many outings previously. Korea Republic are set to face Iraq on the road on 5 June, and then Kuwait at home five days later. .....
